Antenatal Care

Antenatal Share Care – In Australia, the health system allows for three models of care: Midwifery care, GP shared care and Private Obstetrician care. If you are planning to deliver in a private hospital you will need to be referred to a private obstetrician.

Our female GPs are experienced in providing `shared care’ for women with uncomplicated pregnancies in the public hospital system.

Dr Julie Josey (MBBS, Dip Obs RANZCOG, FRACGP) is particularly trained in Obstetrics and Antenatal care.

Contraception

There are many safe and effective birth control methods available to us. The Mirena IUD and Implanon are just a few methods our Doctors can discuss and assist you with.

Choosing a contraceptive method from the range of options available is a matter of working out what is right for your individual situation.
